Your child will love having fun and making exciting new discoveries at Chelsea Day Nursery and Preschool, where our experienced and caring team provides the best care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
In our light and airy baby room, we follow your baby's home routine as closely as possible to help them feel secure and make the transition to nursery life easier. The room is filled with low-level resources and activities to aid your little one's development and help them flourish.
Our cosy toddler room is designed to allow your child to move freely and independently, choosing the toys and activities that interest them. They'll love spending their days painting, building with blocks, exploring the play trays, and snuggling up for stories in the reading corner.
Your little learner will have lots of fun in our bright and colourful preschool room, where they'll become prepared for their transition to school.
Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.
Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.
You can stay updated with your child's day through our Bright Horizons Family app.
To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.
We're fortunate to have a large outdoor space, which is separated into two areas so your little one will have the best resources for their age and development.
The gardens are landscaped so they can be enjoyed in anyweather, and feature a range of exciting activities from tunnels and sports equipment, to play trays and bug hotels. We also have a planting area where we grow our own vegetables so children can learn about how things grow.
Both of the gardens offer freeflow access from the classrooms, so your little explorer can enjoy the outdoors whenever they want.
We're fortunate to be located close to Battersea Park and the River Thames. To help your child feel familiar with their local area, we go on frequent trips to Battersea Park and our local libraries, to encourage their knowledge and understanding of their immediate community.
