Welcome to Bright Horizons Chingford Day Nursery and Preschool, where our vibrant and nurturing environment is crafted to spark young minds, encourage creativity, and nurture the growth of your child. Our nursery is committed to providing children aged 3 months to 5 years with an enriching educational journey during their stay with us.

Enriching Rooms

Your baby will feel right at home in our cosy baby room, where we strive to follow each child's home routines as closely as possible. This lovely, airy room benefits from its own sleeping room and access to a baby garden.

Our toddler room is for little ones aged 18 months to 2 years and is the perfect space to support your child as they transition from baby to roaming toddler.

In our nursery room, your child will love exploring the range of low-level resources and activities we have on offer. This room has its own toilet area to support your child with toilet training.

Preschool is a fun and busy room, which offers a range of exciting learning opportunities including an ICT suite. Your little learner will spend their days playing with friends and learning the skills they need to prepare them for school.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Excellent Outdoor Areas

We're fortunate to have a large, all-weather garden, which is separated into age-appropriate areas, with our youngest children having their own baby garden.

As well as exciting resources such as a slide, play trays and a mud kitchen, we also have a lovely forest area, perfect for a mini beast hunt.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared daily by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to nappies, wipes, formula, nappy cream, and sun cream.
• The nursery is set on university grounds.
• Our nursery in Chingford is located close to Chingford train station.
• Longer opening hours of 7:30am - 6:30pm.
