Welcome to Hatch End Day Nursery and Preschool. At our Ofsted Good rated nursery, our warm and nurturing practitioners provide the best care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Rooms to Support Development

Each of our four rooms has been carefully designed to best support the children’s different age groups, with resources and equipment to help them meet their developmental milestones. The rooms are furnished with premium-quality handmade wooden furniture and resources from Community Playthings.

Preschoolers benefit from a learning room and a range of amazing ICT equipment, which includes a touchscreen computer and interactive smart board to encourage literacy and language skills.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child’s wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that’s moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Play and Stay Sessions

We hold baby messy stay-and-play sessions every Friday, where you can come to the nursery and join your little one with painting, sand play, and other sensory activities. Spaces can be booked in the nursery or over the phone.

Excellent Outdoor Space

We’re fortunate to have an amazing outdoor space at our nursery in Hatch End. The garden offers freeflow access from the classrooms and has covered areas so it can be enjoyed whatever the weather.

Babies and younger children have their own dedicated, enclosed garden space, which features a teepee, an up-and-under bridge with mirrored sides, a stage area, and soft AstroTurf flooring. Older children love their adventure garden, which has a climbing frame, a racetrack, a nature area for planting, bug hotels, birdhouses, a sandpit, and so much more.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to snacks, nappies, formula, wipes, and creams.
