Welcome to North Cheam Day Nursery and Preschool, where we were rated as an Outstanding nursery at our last Ofsted inspection. Our dedicated and passionate staff are committed to providing the very best care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Space to Learn and Grow

Our bright and modern purpose-built nursery has four large rooms tailored to support the development and care of each age group.

In our baby room, we follow your baby’s home routine as closely as possible, to ensure a smooth transition to nursery life. The light and airy room is filled with a wide range of sensory toys to help develop motor skills, physical development, and speech recognition.

Toddlers love their room, which is separated into two different areas, where we encourage independence through playing and learning about the world around them.

In preschool, as well as basing activities around the children’s interests, we work on developing the key skills your little one will need to feel ready and confident to start school. In the attached ready-for-school room, children take part in small group activities to hone these skills.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child’s wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that’s moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Fun in the Kitchen

We have a fantastic children’s kitchen, where little chefs enjoy lots of different cooking activities and learn about healthy food choices.

Amazing Garden Spaces

We’re fortunate to have three beautiful garden areas that provide excellent learning opportunities for children of all ages to enjoy. Babies love their designated garden, which allows them to explore in a lovely safe space away from the older children.

Preschoolers also have their own garden area with free-flow access, so they can have fun outdoors throughout the day. Our large, main garden is used by our toddlers, where we have a brilliant small world area inspired by the city of London.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared daily by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to snacks, nappies, wipes, formula, and creams.
• Onsite parking and buggy park.
• Our nursery in North Cheam is located close to Worcester train station and Morden tube.
• Enjoy longer opening hours of 7:30am to 6pm.
